I really wanted to paint this bright orange house in Mexico City, which always has interesting shadows cast across it. How lucky was I that my blue-hatted model happened to photobomb! Those contrasting primary colours, with the searing Mexican sunshine, made for a wonderfully intriguing, yet simple, subject. I wonder where he's off to?
