Oil paint

I use artist-grade professional oil colour for all of my paintings. The paints are lightfast and will retain their vibrancy and true colour.

Canvas

I paint on premium stretched linen canvas. Linen canvas is superior in strength, durability and longevity, and has a beautiful, fine texture.

Varnish

I apply a layer of retouch / gallery varnish on top of every finished piece. This allows the paint to continue to oxidise underneath, protects from dust and pollution and it won’t yellow over time. A layer of damar varnish can be added over the top, without the need to remove the existing varnish.
