My oil painting of dawn light spilling across the bush in the Australian Alps.
The rays of the just-risen sun are cutting through the bush, spectacularly emphasising the vivid greens and blues of Dinner Plain's snow gums and scrub.
I visited the town of Dinner Plain, Victoria, in January. On the "Room with a view" hike we came across this clearing where the dawn light was illuminating the bush in the most beautiful way.
