My oil painting is of a serene moment at the Finn World Masters 2023 in Kavala, Greece.
While out learning to sail, we encountered the Finn World Masters competition setting up to race. At that point, they hadn't managed to race in days for lack of wind, and again they were waiting for it to finally pick up. I snapped a photo as we sailed past to paint this scene, in which I can feel both the calm blue serenity and impatient anticipation!
