The bright, contrasting colours of these two houses are what drew me to try to capture how those colours react and change to the dappled light. I walk past them on my daily walk to Parque México in the Roma Norte area of Mexico City. While painting, I realised that the colours reflect two very common foods here in Mexico - mango and lime!
