My oil painting of the serene ambiance of the iconic Venice canals on a peaceful, grey autumn morning. It conveys a sense of calm and the unique beauty of this timeless city in the quieter season, early morning before the tourists arrive.
I had the chance to visit Venice for just a day last week. On my way to visit friends in Albania, a stop-over in Italy was required - lucky me! After a 3am start, we arrived early to be rewarded with the most amazing city and beauty around every corner. I have a lot of painting to do!
