It was a wet summer this year, as it has been for the last couple. Maybe we're used to seeing images of Sydney on bright blue sparkling summer days? But the colours those purple clouds create on the water were just too beautiful not to paint!
I loved capturing those big, bold shapes and the contrasting blues/yellows/greens. An unusual composition that caught my eye while walking along the waterfront on a warm but overcast day after visiting friends at the Rocks just after Christmas.
